Topic 1: What is a Linear Equation?

Linear equation wo equation hoti hai jisme variable ki power sirf 1 hoti hai.

Roman Urdu: Jis equation mein x ya y ka square ya cube na ho, wo linear equation hoti hai.

Examples:

  • x + 5 = 10
  • 2x = 8
  • 3x − 4 = 11

Topic 2: Solving Linear Equation (Step by Step)

Linear equation solve karne ka basic rule: Variable ko ek side aur numbers ko doosri side le aao.

Example 1:

x + 5 = 10

5 ko right side le jao:

x = 10 − 5

x = 5

Example 2:

2x = 8

Dono sides ko 2 se divide karo:

x = 8 ÷ 2

x = 4

Topic 3: Linear Equation with Minus Sign

Example:

3x − 4 = 11

−4 ko right side le jao:

3x = 11 + 4

3x = 15

x = 15 ÷ 3 = 5

Word problems mein pehle sentence ko equation mein convert karna hota hai.

Question:

A number increased by 7 is 15. Find the number.

Solution:

Let number = x

x + 7 = 15

x = 15 − 7

x = 8
